Georgetown, SC is a nice town that has only been semi-discovered. It is

about an hour or so north of Charleston and about the same south of Myrtle without the
traffic of either. The main drawback is there is a paper plant nearby...so you have that paper processing smell when the wind blows a certain way. Wilmington N.C. has been growing in popularity also...nice town on the water and close to the beaches. However, it seems to be developing a traffic issue also.
